Enhance Dental

Identifying the problem

Enhance Dental Practice provides general, cosmetic, orthodontic, implant and facial aesthetics treatments to patients across Leeds. As a practice that is committed to delivering quality dental care, Enhance Dental have a great reputation locally. Husband and Wife, Mark Hanson and Shirley Hanson lead a team of clinicians that thrive on word-of-mouth recommendations and feedback on their excellent customer service.

Shirley from Enhance Dental approached Window Control Systems as a result of an internet search and some research on the website. During an initial conversation, Shirley discussed the current situation and sought the advice of Business Development Manager, Graeme Hogg.

At the time of the conversation, Enhance Dental appeared to have no easily accessible window fittings in the dental rooms and so required Window Control Systems to install manual actuators to allow staff members to reach the opening of the windows in a safe manner.

The objectives

  • Allow easy access for staff members.
  • To allow fresh air to flow in and out of the room to ensure a safe working environment.
  • To regulate a comfortable room temperature for patients and staff during appointments.
  • To ensure that clean air is being introduced to allow natural ventilation, and to comply with covid safe recommendations.
  • Reducing CO2 emissions in the room would also enhance performance within the team.

In early 2021, Enhance Dental began an expansion project to increase the number of patient treatment rooms. This meant a temporary closure of the site whilst work was underway, however, the practice can now see more patients per hour. Window Control Systems were able to apply actuators to 7 windows across the building.

The solution

Manual actuatorAfter an initial site visit and quote, Window Control Systems installed manual window actuators into every room to allow fresh, clean air to flow throughout the building.

The manual system allows the staff to safely open and close the windows as well as open more than one window at once. Enhance Dental felt it was important to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible in their practice during their appointment.

After the installation, Manager Shirley Hanson said “We are pleased that we found a way of resolving our problem and that we found your company.”

Graeme from Window Control Systems said “It was a great opportunity to be able to work with Shirley and the team. You can tell that they put customer service, hygiene, and excellence at the forefront of what they do. We’re really pleased that we were able to meet their needs on this occasion.”

If your business is looking to introduce fresh air into your work environment, contact the team at Window Control Systems who would be happy to help.
